Spokesman: All parties are united on the plan of Brexit

The spokesman for the British Prime Minister Teresa May made the following statement:

  • The Prime Minister values the contributions of all her colleagues in the Cabinet of Ministers.
  • Boris Johnson's views are well known about Brexit during the EU referendum campaign.
  • The prime minister and her advisers and Boris Johnson are all united on the Brexit plan.

These remarks come in the wake of an article by the British Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, in the Telegraph entitled " My vision for a bold, thriving Britain enabled by Brexit."

On the other hand, Oliver Robbins resigned as a permanent secretary at the Department for Exiting the European Union to act as coordinator of Teresa May. Government officials said Mr. Robbins would remain in the fourth round of Brexit talks next week besides David Davies but would work as a personal adviser with the prime minister.

Robbins is highly respected in the Brexit negotiating circles but there have been reports that there is a divergence of views between him and David Davies, the Brexit minister.
