The decision to impeach Trump could come to a vote this week

House of Representative Rules Committee Chairman Jim McGovern said he expects the impeachment bill against President Donald Trump to be brought up in the House of Representatives for a vote on Wednesday, and he also predicts that it will be passed.

McGovern said he expected Republican lawmakers to object to a request to put forward a resolution requiring Vice President Mike Pence to rely on the 25th amendment to the Constitution to dismiss Trump, in which case his committee will submit this legislation to a vote on it, and after 24 hours the committee will present a resolution to deal with the impeachment. He added that the president's action is unconscionable and needs accountability.

This is what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi indicated on Sunday that the House of Representatives will move forward with legislation to impeach President Trump, warning that he is considered a threat to democracy after storming the Congress building last Wednesday.
