Germany unemployment declines in February

German unemployment fell unexpectedly in February, the Federal Labor Office said today, indicating that a strong labor market will continue to drive growth in Europe's largest economy.

Data from the Labor Office showed that the number of non-employed persons fell by 10,000 to 2.262 million in seasonally adjusted terms. Expectations were to rise by 3,000.
