Haruhiko Kuroda, Bank of Japan Governor, said on Tuesday that the central bank’s policy easing measures are aimed only at achieving the inflation target and not to liquidate public debt.

"It is important for the government to take steps to maintain the health of the financial system in Japan," Kuroda told parliament about concerns that the Bank of Japan's easing policy feeds financial satisfaction.
