The European Commission will propose allocating €750 billion to the European Union economy to help it recover from the coronavirus crisis, German news agency DPA reported on Wednesday
Of the total amount, €500 billion will be in the form of grants, while €250 billion will be earmarked for loans, according to sources
This proposal differs from a previous call for a €500 billion grant to assist the economy proposed by French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
