European stocks begin trading higher after airlines plan to resume flights

European stocks opened higher on Tuesday amid hopes for an economic recovery. The UK FTSE Index rose by 1.9% after a three-day losing streak, while the German DAX Index rose by 0.75%. TUI shares rose 37% after the CEO signaled that the company will resume flights at the end of June.

On the other hand, Wirecard shares fell 4% after postponing  2019 earnings for the third time in a row. Dow Jones futures rose 1.93%, Eurostoxx rose by 1.1%, the French CAC40 by 1.2%, and the Spanish IBEX by 1.3%.
